Since Netscape and a similar broswer, Mosaic, constitute the majority of the browser in use, @once! optimizes its Web work for these browsers. Other browsers do not accommodate the full array of features available in HTML.
Some of these browsers include those utilized by America Online, CompuServe and Prodigy.
On Web pages where browser limitations will affect viewing of the page, @once! develops an alternate page whenever possible. For example, a page that features tables is not supported by America Online's browser. @once! offers AOL visitors an alternate page without tables so browser limitations are minimized. Providers and Web developers, however, can do little with is the graphic limitation of not supporting backgrounds.

Leased Web site space from @once! provides the full range of capabilities and features available and are transferred over the Net using HTTP (HyperText Transfer Protocol) supported by high bandwidth connections (full 1.5Mbps T1).
FTP
FTP (File Transfer Protocol) is available and is usually incorporated into Web sites. This capability facilitates downloading a file to a visitor at the site. A Web site can be developed as an on-line catalog site. Actual orders can be placed by customers and forwarded utilizing e-mail. If your company currently is equipped with e-mail, orders would come directly to you in real time. There are local, regional and national providers of this type of service. Not included in the group of national providers are the on-line services: America Online, CompuServe and Prodigy. Other regional and local providers have developed services more advantageous to commercial activity even with non-commercial accounts.
